Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Valsesia and 10th ranked LTC Sangiorg. had identical 3-4 record. This time Valsesia used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from San Giorgio 64-60 on Sunday night. The best player for the winners was guard Nicolo Gatti (196-91) who scored 17 points and 6 assists. Swingman Mattia Magrini (190-93) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and swingman Luca Falconi (190-91) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Valsesia (4-4) moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser LTC Sangiorg. keeps the tenth position with five games lost. Valsesia will face Moncalieri (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LTC Sangiorg. will play against Montecatiniterme (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
