Regular Season Round 21: Rimini - Faenza 71-75

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Faenza (14-7) defeated on the road 9th ranked Rimini (9-12) 75-71 on Wednesday. Faenza made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Marco Perin (185-93) who scored 16 points and 8 assists. Forward Simone Aromando (200-97) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Faenza players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Edoardo Tiberti (205-97) who recorded 26 points and 9 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and forward Giacomo Signorini (192-98, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points respectively. They have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Faenza moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Lecco. Loser Rimini keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Faenza will face Lecco (#4) at home in the next round. Rimini will play against Reggio Emilia (#15) and hope to win that game.
