Regular Season Round 20: Roma SRB - Forli 62-64

A very interesting game took place in Roma. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 12th ranked Roma SRB (5-14) to fourteenth ranked Forli (3-14) 64-62 on Saturday evening. Strangely Roma SRB outrebounded Forli 36-19 including a 24-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Benedetta Gramaccioni (171-98) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points. Guard Lucia Missanelli (177-98) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Forli players scored in double figures. Power forward Laura Gelfusa (185-79) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds and forward Michela Marchetti (176-96) added 16 points in the effort for Roma SRB. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Forli moved-up to thirteenth place in A2. Roma SRB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Forli's next round opponent will be higher ranked Spezzina (#6) in La Spezia and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
