But Saronno was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Faenza 81-67 on Saturday night. Faenza outrebounded Saronno 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Giovanni Poggi (201-1997) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Serbian swingman Nemanja Dincic (202-1998) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Power forward Giacomo Maspero (204-1992) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Matteo Beretta (188-1999, agency: SLN) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Faenza will meet at home Ragusa in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Saronno will play against Legnano and hope to win that game.
