Udine outrebounded Piacenza 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Udine shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Matteo Da Ros (204-1989) who led the winners and scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Point guard Federico Bonacini (190-1999) came up with 23 points and naturalized Beninese swingman Ursulo DAlmeida (200-2001) added 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Piacenza in the defeat. Five Udine and four Piacenza players scored in double figures. Piacenza's coach Stefano Salieri gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Udine moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cividale. Piacenza lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost.
