Regular Season Round 7: Cantu - Cento 85-65

Serie A2 top team -Cantu (6-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed nineteenth ranked Cento (1-6) 85-65 . Cantu shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Cento 's players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Riccardo Moraschini (194-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 4 assists. Center Luca Possamai (209-2001) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Cantu players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Stacy Davis (198-1994, college: Pepperdine) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Nicola Berdini (184-2003) scored 5 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cantu have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record, which they share with Rimini and Rieti. Cento lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Brindisi.
