Regular Season Round 9: Treviso - Ragusa 62-69

Very expected game when 8th ranked Treviso (4-4) lost at home to fourth ranked Ragusa (7-1) 69-62 on Saturday. Guard Ramona Tomasoni (173-2004) nailed 17 points for the winning side and Argentinian guard Amaiquen Siciliano (170-1999, college: Bishop's) accounted for 16 points. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Finnish forward Anniina Aijanen (188-1995, college: Xavier) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) added 13 points respectively for Treviso in the defeat. Ragusa moved-up to second place. Loser Treviso keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Ragusa will meet at home Roseto (#6) in the next round. Treviso will play against Trieste and hope to secure a win.
