Regular Season Round 20: Forli - Cividale 79-82
Date: January 12, 2025
There was no surprise when 9th rankedForli (11-9) was edged at home by fourth ranked Cividale (14-6) 82-79 on Sunday. Cividale made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Giacomo DellAgnello (198-1994) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Francesco Ferrari (204-2005) who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Croatian guard Toni Perkovic (191-1998) responded with 19 points and Israeli Shawn Dawson (198-1993) scored 14 points. Five Cividale and four Forli players scored in double figures. Forli's coach Antimo Martino tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cividale have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 14-6 record. Loser Forli keeps the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Fortitudo. Cividale will meet league's second-placed Udine on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Forli will play against Verona (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
