Regular Season Round 15: Faenza - Schio 59-87

Serie A1 top team -Schio (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Faenza (6-8) 87-59 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Faenza. Schio forced 20 Faenza turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a great evening for international center Andre Olbis (192-1998) who led her team to a victory scoring 10 points and 9 rebounds. French forward Janelle Salaun (188-2001) helped adding 14 points. The best for the losing side was American guard Cornelia Fondren (173-1993, college: Syracuse) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and French Sara Roumy (181-2003) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Schio have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-1 record. Faenza at the other side dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost.
