Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedTreviso (13-5) outscored at home 12th ranked Civitanova (4-15) 76-57 on Sunday. Treviso forced 20 Civitanova turnovers. Center Ashley Egwoh (192-2002) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Polish power forward Katarzyna Jaworska (188-1994) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sofia Binci (165-2002) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Treviso . They maintain fifth place with 13-5 record. Newly promoted Civitanova keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Treviso will meet league's second-placed Roseto on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Civitanova will play against Ancona (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
