There was a minor upset when 6th rankedRoseto (15-9) lost on the road to eighth ranked Vicenza (11-13) 78-73 on Wednesday. Vicenza forced 19 Roseto turnovers. The winners were led by point guard Alice Peserico (173-2002) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Giulia Cecili (168-1999) supported her with 11 points and 6 assists. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds by guard Beatrice Caloro (177-2004) did not help to save the game for Roseto . Power forward Eva Lizzi (188-2003) added 11 points and 7 rebounds. Roseto's coach Simone Righi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vicenza moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Roseto lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost.
