No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedTreviso (17-7) beat on the road 10th ranked Bolzano BC (10-14) 69-55 on Saturday. Treviso had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by point guard Sofia Vespignani (170-1996) who scored that evening 16 points and 8 assists and the former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) supported her with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Treviso players scored in double figures. Even 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks by swingman Alessia Egwho (189-1997) did not help to save the game for Bolzano BC . Polish swingman Karolina Stefanczyk (182-1999, agency: AB Agency) added 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Treviso moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Matelica. Bolzano BC lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. Treviso will meet at home Matelica (#4) in the next round. Bolzano BC will play against the league's leader Mantova (#1) and hope to secure a win.
