International point guard Costanza Verona (170-1999) fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Latvian forward Kitija Laksa (183-1996, college: S.Florida) chipped in 19 points. Finnish-Egyptian center Awak Kuier (194-2001) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Kamiah Smalls (178-1998, college: JMU) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Venezia players scored in double figures. Venezia's coach Andrea Mazzon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
