Roseto made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Roseto outrebounded Mestre 37-21 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Mestre helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian Lukas Aukstikalnis (196-1995) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds. Center Edoardo Tiberti (203-1997, agency: SLN) contributed with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Roseto players scored in double figures. Guard Nicola Giordano (188-2003, agency: SLN) answered with 16 points and forward Andrea Lo Biondo (206-1998, college: Winona St.) added 9 points in the effort for Mestre. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
