There was a small surprise when Milano Sanga beat on the road Torino 69-52 on Saturday. Serbian guard Anja Marinkovic (173-1998, college: FGCU) nailed 23 points for the winning side and the former international forward Alessandra Tava (183-1991, agency: SLN) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds. Swiss forward Lea Favre (185-1997, college: Rider) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Ilaria Bernardi (178-2005) added 10 points respectively for Torino in the defeat. Torino's coach Mario Corrado rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Milano Sanga's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Milano to the arena .
