Regular Season Round 3: Ragusa - Bolzano BC 77-83

Very important is a home loss of Ragusa (2-1) against Bolzano BC (1-1) on Sunday night. Host Ragusa was defeated by Bolzano BC in a tough game in Ragusa 77-83. It was a good game for forward Giulia Manzotti (178-1993) who led her team to a victory with 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Swingman Alessia Egwho (189-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Federica Mazza (174-2001) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ilaria Moriconi (165-2000) added 18 points in the effort for Ragusa. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Bolzano BC will play against Vicenza (#13) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ragusa will play against Cagliari CUS (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
