Regular Season Round 4: Trieste - Alpo 72-80
Date: October 25, 2025
There was no surprise when bottom-rankedTrieste (0-4) lost at home to fifth ranked Alpo (3-1) 80-72 on Saturday. Alpo made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Trieste only scored five points from the stripe. The winners were led by the former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Francesca Parmesani (176-1998) supported her with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds by Argentinian power forward Celia Fiorotto (184-1992) did not help to save the game for Trieste . Guard Lucrezia Zanetti (175-1997, agency: Interperformances) added 12 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. Five Alpo and four Trieste players scored in double figures. Alpo have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Trieste still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Vicenza. Alpo will meet at home Alcamo (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trieste will play against Treviso and hopes to get finally their first victory.
