We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th rankedTrieste (2-6) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Vicenza (2-5) 80-65 on Wednesday. Vicenza forced 21 Trieste turnovers. The best player for the winners was Chiara Fusari who scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Swedish forward Amanda Kantzy (186-1996, college: Albany) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Bulgarian forward Iliyana Georgieva (186-2003) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Alice Nori (185-1993) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Trieste players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vicenza moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Milano Stars. Loser Trieste dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with Ancona.
