No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Ragusa (5-2) smashed on the road 13th ranked Treviso (1-7) 66-42 on Saturday. Ragusa dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Treviso's 18. They outrebounded Treviso 38-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Beatrice Stroscio stepped up and scored 18 points for the winners and the former international forward Chiara Consolini (180-1988) chipped in 13 points. The best for the losing side was Polish forward Edyta Falenczyk (180-1993) with 8 points and 6 rebounds and guard Fabiana Prete (174-2006) scored 7 points and 4 assists. Ragusa moved-up to fourth place. Treviso lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Ragusa will meet at home Rovigo (#8) in the next round. Treviso will play against the league's second-placed Alpo (#2) in Verona and hope to win that game.
