Bottom-rankedRoseto managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of five consecutive losses on Wednesday night. This time newly promoted Roseto won against eighth-ranked San Martino 86-69 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 17-point difference suggests that Roseto is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. Roseto looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American swingman Alyssa Ustby (185-2002, college: UNC) stepped up and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and her fellow American import guard Samantha Puisis (185-2000, college: S.Florida) chipped in 26 points and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was American forward Liz Scott (188-2001, college: Oklahoma) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 18 rebounds and Slovenian Tina Cvijanovic (180-1998) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Roseto (2-6) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with San Martino and Brescia. San Martino lost third consecutive game.
