Regular Season Round 11: Umbertide - Ragusa 59-58

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Ragusa's (6-3) road loss to third ranked Umbertide (8-1) 58-59 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was center Beatrice Baldi (185-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Agnese Gianangeli chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds. Ginevra Cedolini (185-2005) produced 11 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ilaria Moriconi (165-2000) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Umbertide moved-up to second place, which they share with Matelica. Loser Ragusa keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Bolzano BC. Umbertide will meet league's leader Alpo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ragusa will play against Faenza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
