Rather expected game when 9th rankedMilano Stars (4-7) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked San Salvatore (7-5) 65-51 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Francesca DAngelo (182-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Silvia Ceccarelli (182-1996) who added 12 points and 4 blocks during the contest. San Salvatore's coach Vasileios Maslarinos used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Polish power forward Karolina Stawinska (186-1997) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and forward Giulia Manzotti (178-1993) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. San Salvatore moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Empoli. Loser Milano Stars dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
