Regular Season Round 12: Roseto - Schio 62-91

Serie A1 top team -Schio (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Roseto (4-7) 91-62 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Roseto. It was a great shooting night for Schio especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Slovenian-American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds and international center Futo Andre Olbis (192-1998) who added 11 points during the contest. Schio's coach Victor Lapena felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Alyssa Ustby (185-2002, college: UNC) with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (193-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Schio have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Newly promoted Roseto keeps the eighth place with seven games lost.
