Serie A1 top team -Schio (14-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Brescia (2-11) 110-50 . Schio dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Brescia 's 26. Schio forced 19 Brescia turnovers and outrebounded them 44-18 including a 30-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Schio shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Brescia 's players. It was a great evening for Latvian forward Kitija Laksa (183-1996, college: S.Florida) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points. Slovenian-American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Schio players scored in double figures. Schio's coach Victor Lapena felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Marzia Tagliamento (182-1996) with 19 points and 4 assists and Brazilian Allanis Delboni (180-2002) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Schio have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-0 record. Brescia lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 11 games lost.
