There was no surprise when 8th rankedVicenza (5-9) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked Faenza (7-7) 74-50 on Sunday. It was a great evening for forward Sara Ronchi (184-2003) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Center Marianna Zanetti (190-2008) helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Swedish forward Amanda Kantzy (186-1996, college: Albany) with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Chiara Fusari (172-1998) scored 14 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Faenza maintains sixth place with 7-7 record. Loser Vicenza dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
