No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedFaenza (8-7) beat on the road 12th ranked Ancona (4-11) 59-45 on Saturday. Faenza held Ancona to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.8 percent accuracy of the winners. The winners were led by Finnish Lilli Onnela (183-2006) who scored that evening 12 points and 8 rebounds and center Marianna Zanetti (190-2008) supported her with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds by Argentinian power forward Celia Fiorotto (184-1992) did not help to save the game for Ancona . French guard Carla Bremaud (179-1999, college: Wichita St.) added 15 points for lost side. Ancona's coach Luca Piccionne tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Faenza maintains sixth position with 8-7 record, which they share with San Salvatore. Ancona lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost.
