Very important is a road loss of second rankedAlpo (12-3) against ninth ranked Vicenza (6-9) on Saturday night. Visiting Alpo was defeated by Vicenza in a tough game in Vicenza 59-63 . Vicenza outrebounded Alpo 49-29 including a 40-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alice Nori (185-1993) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Swedish forward Amanda Kantzy (186-1996, college: Albany) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Serena Soglia (186-2000) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Vicenza moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Cagliari CUS. Alpo at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
