There was a small surprise when thirteenth rankedLumezzane (10-12) beat at home 11th ranked Omegna (12-10) 86-79 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Montenegrin Lazar Kekovic (204-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. point guard Luca Galassi (185-1999) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) for the winning side. Five Lumezzane players scored in double figures. Latvian Andris Misters (195-1992, college: Jacksonville) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Giacomo Baldini (190-1996) added 17 points respectively for Omegna in the defeat. Lumezzane have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Jesi and Ravenna. Loser Omegna dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Imola ACosta and Fabo Herons.
