Rather expected game when 8th ranked Vicenza (6-10) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Bolzano BC (10-5) 66-58 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Licia Schwienbacher (172-1995) who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Giulia Cecili (168-1999) chipped in 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Swedish forward Amanda Kantzy (186-1996, college: Albany) produced 7 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Alice Peserico (173-2002) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Bolzano BC moved-up to third place. Loser Vicenza dropped to the tenth position with ten games lost. Bolzano BC will meet Rovigo (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Vicenza will play against Cagliari CUS and hope to secure a win.
