No shocking result in a game when second rankedMilano Sanga (16-2) crushed at home 12th ranked Viterbo (3-15) 87-66 on Saturday. Milano Sanga outrebounded Viterbo 40-23 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Milano Sanga shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Viterbo 's players. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian guard Anja Marinkovic (173-1998, college: FGCU) who led the winners and scored 21 points. Guard Elena Bestagno (177-1991) accounted for 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Five Milano Sanga players scored in double figures. Norwegian forward Maria Myklebust (184-2003, college: FAU) came up with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Arianna Puggioni (170-1999) added 14 points respectively for Viterbo in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Milano Sanga . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Costa Masnaga. Viterbo at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 15 games lost.
