There was a minor upset when 8th rankedVicenza (7-11) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Trieste (8-11) 71-64 on Saturday. Trieste made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Costanza Miccoli (185-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Jade Edwards (175-2008, college: DePaul) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Trieste players scored in double figures. point guard Chiara Fusari (172-1998) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and Swedish forward Amanda Kantzy (186-1996, college: Albany) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Vicenza's coach Lorenzo Logallo tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trieste have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Cagliari CUS and Rovigo. Loser Vicenza dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
