Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh rankedMoncalieri and 10th ranked Giussano had identical 5-13 record. But Giussano was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Moncalieri 76-73 on Saturday night. Forward Beatrice Olajide (182-1998) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and swingman Marta Pellegrini (178-2002) chipped in 21 points. Four Moncalieri players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Carolina Valensin (173-2000) with 27 points (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and Polish power forward Magdalena Szajtauer (196-1995) scored 8 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Moncalieri (6-13) moved-up to tenth place. Giussano lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Ancona.
