Very expected game when 12th rankedViterbo (4-17) lost on the road to fifth ranked Valdarno (13-7) 79-68 on Saturday. Valdarno forced 19 Viterbo turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. Forward Ilaria Bernardi (178-2005) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and Swiss forward Lea Favre (185-1997, college: Rider) supported her with 14 points and 4 assists. Four Valdarno players scored in double figures. Valdarno's coach Jose Garcia used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by point guard Angelica Bardare (175-2005) did not help to save the game for Viterbo . Senegalese center Britney Imuentinyan (185-2007) added 9 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Valdarno moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Viterbo keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
