Everything went according to plan when second rankedAlpo (16-5) outscored on the road 13th ranked Treviso (2-19) 129-62 on Saturday. Alpo dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to Treviso 's 24. Alpo forced 19 Treviso turnovers and outrebounded them 52-18 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Alpo looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Treviso 's players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 5 points, 9 rebounds and 13 assists. Forward Giulia Mancini (187-2007) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Alpo players scored in double figures. Alpo's coach Nicola Soave felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Matilde Baron (-2003) produced 29 points (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and guard Benedetta Bocchetti (176-2006) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Alpo maintains second place with 16-5 record behind leader Milano Sanga. Treviso lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 19 games lost.
