No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedTreviglio (18-12) beat at home 11th ranked Omegna (17-15) 77-68 on Sunday. Treviglio outrebounded Omegna 38-26 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Croatian center Aleksandar Marcius (208-1990, college: DePaul) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and the former international swingman Davide Reati (193-1988) supported him with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 19 points and 7 assists by point guard Emanuele Trapani (182-1999) did not help to save the game for Omegna . Serbian forward Marko Brekic (199-2001) added 20 points for the guests. Treviglio have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Piacenza UCC and Legnano. Loser Omegna keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost.
