Not a big story in a game when 6th rankedRagusa (12-10) lost on the road to fourth ranked Faenza (15-8) 87-77 on Saturday. Faenza made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Czech swingman Emilie Brzonova (181-2006) nailed 30 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winning side and Finnish Lilli Onnela (183-2006) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Swedish forward Precious Johnson (193-2000, college: Duquesne) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Chiara Consolini (180-1988) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Ragusa in the defeat. Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Faenza moved-up to third place, which they share with Bolzano BC and Torino. Loser Ragusa keeps the sixth position with ten games lost.
