Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedImola ACosta (17-15) was defeated on the road by second ranked Latina (26-5) 73-63 on Sunday. Latina made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Bosnian-Croatian power forward Marko Bakovic (205-1993) who scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. The former international Brian Sacchetti (200-1986, agency: SLN) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Giacomo Sanguinetti (181-1990) who recorded 20 points and forward Davide Raucci (198-1990, agency: SLN) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Latina . They keep a position of league leader. Loser Imola ACosta keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Omegna.
