Not a big story in a game when 15th rankedLumezzane (13-18) was edged at home by third ranked Montecatini (22-10) 85-84 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Andrea Bargnesi (182-2001) who scored 39 points (!!!). Mattia Acunzo (203-2000, college: RMU, agency: SLN) chipped in 6 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Luca Galassi (185-1999) who recorded 21 points and guard Niccolo Piccionne (190-2005) added 14 points respectively. Four Lumezzane players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Montecatini maintains third place with 22-10 record having just two points less than leader Latina, which they share with San Vendemiano. Loser Lumezzane keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost.
