There was a minor upset when 6th rankedSan Salvatore (13-11) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Cagliari V (12-12) 57-41 on Friday. The best player for the winners was power forward Mounia El Habbab (186-1994) who scored 15 points. Guard Giulia Corda (170-2005) chipped in 6 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Francesca DAngelo (182-2001) produced 7 points and 10 rebounds and guard Silvia Ceccarelli (182-1996) added 8 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cagliari V moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Alcamo. Loser San Salvatore keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Umbertide and Livorno.
