There was a minor upset when 11th rankedDesio (17-16) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Vicenza (16-17) 75-70 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Giovanni Gasparin (190-1991, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 15 points. Guard Mattia Da Campo (198-1997, college: Seattle) accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Andrea Mazzoleni (197-1998) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Francesco Spinelli (195-2005) added 11 points and 5 assists respectively for Desio in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Desio's coach Marco Regazzi let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Vicenza moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Jesi. Desio lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost.
