There was a surprise result when fifteenth rankedLumezzane (15-20) defeated at home higher ranked Fabo Herons (21-15) 78-73 on Sunday. Lumezzane made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Point guard Luca Galassi (185-1999) stepped up and scored 19 points (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and Giacomo Siberna (192-1996) chipped in 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Lumezzane players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Riccardo Chinellato (198-2000, agency: SLN) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Belarusian Kiryl Tsetserukou (201-2001) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Lumezzane moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Piombino and Piazza Armer. Loser Fabo Herons dropped to the sixth position with 15 games lost.
