Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Mariella Santucci (171-1997, college: Toledo) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Kaila Charles (185-1998, college: Maryland) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. FourVenezia players scored in double figures. Slovenian-American forward Jessica Shepard (193-1996, college: Notre Dame) answered with 6 points and 14 rebounds and international forward Cecilia Zandalasini (188-1996) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Schio. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
