Alpo made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. The former international guard Antonia Peresson (176-1995, college: Georgia Tech) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and forward Francesca Parmesani (176-1998) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side Latvian power forward Liga Vente (190-1991, college: Eckerd) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and guard Sophia Lussignoli (177-2005) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
