Livorno Libertas players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Milano Urania 's players. American Matt Tiby (203-1992, college: Milwaukee) nailed 25 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Avery Woodson (188-1993, college: Butler, agency: SLN) accounted for 22 points and 4 assists. Naturalized American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech) came up with 26 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Gherardo Sabatini (183-1994) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Milano Urania in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
