Rather predictable result when third rankedArmani Milano (20-8) defeated at home 7th ranked Trieste (13-15) 86-78 on Sunday. Milano made 20-of-20 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Danish Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian swingman Leandro Bolmaro (198-2000) chipped in 15 points. American Jahmius Ramsey (190-2001, college: Texas Tech) produced 20 points and the other American import point guard Colbey Ross (185-1998, college: Pepperdine) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Five Trieste players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Armani Milano have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Brescia. Trieste lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Varese. Milano will meet Trento (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Trieste will play against Cremona and hope to secure a win.
