San Vendemiano outrebounded San Severo 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. San Vendemiano players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Naturalized Nigerian center Ivan Onojaife (200-2003, agency: Players Group) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Riccardo Murri (190-2000) accounted for 19 points. Center Matteo Gherardini (206-2004) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Paolo Bandini (186-2004) added 17 points and 7 assists respectively for San Severo in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. San Severo's coach Massimo Bernardi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
