Costa Masnaga players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Colombian forward Marta Moscarella (185-2007) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds. German forward Patricia Brossmann (185-1997, college: San Diego) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Costa Masnaga's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Flavia De Cassan (176-1998, agency: SLN) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Ilaria Bernardi (178-2005) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Valdarno. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
