Tortona shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by the former international point guard Tommaso Baldasso (193-1998) who scored that evening 14 points and 6 assists and American point guard Ezra Manjon (183-2000, college: Vanderbilt) supported him with 12 points and 5 assists. Even 11 points and 5 rebounds by American swingman Denzel Valentine (196-1993, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Umana Venezia . His fellow American import forward Jordan Parks (201-1994, college: NCCU, agency: Inception Sports) added 9 points for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
