Verona outrebounded Fortitudo 32-21 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Verona looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Andrea Loro (204-2003, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. American Justin Johnson (200-1996, college: WKU) helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. Five Verona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian forward Paulius Sorokas (203-1992, agency: Players Group) with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Lee Moore (194-1995, college: UTEP) scored 21 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
