There was an upset when higher ranked Takamatsu FA (4-5) lost at home to twelfth ranked Bambitious Nara (2-7) 73-60 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-60. American Josh Ritchart (206, college: Cal-Davis) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Higuchi Mato contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Masaaki Suzuki (176-87) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Takamatsu FA.
